Good News and Bad News! Good News is that Tennis is Alive! The Bad News is shortage of courts at Bell Center at prime time is becoming a problem. As a result your tennis board has been working with RCSC Club Offices, Angela Willette, to reserve more courts for our club AND to communicate to club and non-club members court reservations.
In the past, we have reserved courts 1-3 at prime time for Club Drop-In Tennis.
In the past, we have also reserved courts and tennis canopy for club events, tournaments, and annual meetings.
In the past we have also reserved courts for Luck of the Draw Saturday 1:00 - 3:00pm tennis.
We have NOT previously reserved any other club groups, official or ad hoc. There are many such groups, and WE ENCOURAGE club members to connect with each other to play when they want. That is why we provide the club roster and phone numbers in the Member Only Section of the club website.
After our club Board discussed the shortage of courts and consulted with the RCSC Club Offices, we decided for clarity and communication, to reserve courts for the club Women's 4.0 League Team and the Men's League Team. Other courts will be on a First Come, First Served basis. This begins Monday November 11th. We have posted these reservations to our club website. Also we have posted some club sponsored groups, such as Mens Wednesday night tennis and Thursday CoEd Tennis to the calendar. If other groups want to open up their group to more club members, please contact a member of the club board.
In the next week or two, a laminated poster with court reservations will be posted by RCSC on the fence of Court 1.

MountainView Courts are also available for Tennis Club and non club RCSC card holders. Mountain View has a ball machine on site. Ask at the proctor desk.
LakeView Courts are not safe for game play, but would be ok for ball machine practice. There is a ball machine on site at the proctor desk.
*Tennis Club Members – Contact the club president to reserve any club courts during
club hours
As our club grows and the demand for court time increases, it would be helpful and appreciated if many other club members could speak out to RCSC board and in exchange meetings of the need for MountainView and LakeView court resurfacing and upkeep.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. This will work and will allow us to continue to Play for Fun, Exercise and Friendship.
